Kathleen A. Fancher, age 72, of Selma, AL, passed away August 5, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Grace Wade; sons, Twain Fancher and William David Fancher and brothers, Charles Wade, Leipold Wade, James “Russ” Wade, Jimmy Wade and Denny Wade and sister, Helen Coon.

She is survived by her husband, Allen Fancher; son, John (Renee) Fancher; sister, Stella (Brad) Capps; granddaughters, Ashly and Paige Fancher; great-grandson, Evan Wade Barlow; sisters-in-laws, Pat Wade, Nelvin Wade, Sally Wade and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Ocmulgee Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Sumerlin, Rev. Tommy Fancher and Rev. Donald Harris officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Robby Wade, Robert Wade, Bryant Wade, Billy Perry, Tommy Beach and Mike Wade. Honorary pallbearers will be the Board of Deacons at Ocmulgee Baptist Church and the entire body of young men whose life she touched.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Ocmulgee Baptist Church, Rt. 6 Box 378, Selma, AL, 36701.
