Martha Holley Roberts, age 74, of Selma, AL passed away June 20, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elam Holley, Sr. and Kathleen Holley. and sister,Barbara Wyatt.

She is survived by her husband, Charles “Pete” Roberts; daughters, Cindy (Drew) Brock and Robin (Neal) Ward; brothers, Elam (Sandra) Holley, Jr. and Ralph (Pat) Holley; grandchildren, Jennifer (Chris) Horton, Royce Kuhn, Grant Scott, Philip Brock, Ashley Horton and Collin Horton; special friend David Hulsey and special niece, Jan Leicht.

Mrs. Roberts was a Sunday School teacher for over fifty years at Central/Valley Grande Baptist Church, where she touched many lives. She worked with children through VBS and the Happy Hands Puppet Ministry.

Graveside services will be Friday, June 22, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. in New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Clarke Skelton and Rev. Ed Eaton officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Drew Brock, Neal Ward, Chris Horton, Royce Kuhn, Grant Scott, Philip Brock, Collin Horton and David Hulsey.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to be made to Valley Grande Baptist Church Building Fund, 48 County Road 16, Valley Grande, AL, 36701.
