Israel Safford, 78, a resident of Sardis, passed May 22, 2012. Services are scheduled for 1pm Saturday June 2, 2012 at Good Hope Baptist Church with Pastor John L Ward officiating and Rev. Jimmy Coleman eulogist. Burial will be in the churchyard cemetery directed by J. H. Williams & Sons Funeral Home.
