Robert Charles Asquith, born April 17, 1928, died May 10, 2012 at the age of 84.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Jewell Asquith; daughters, Barbara Larson (Erik) and Roberta Umstead (Jeff); grandchildren, Sara, Joshua, Tim, and Jacob Larson; 3 brothers, Jim,Frank and Don Asquith.

Robert was a WWII Navy veteran; earned electrical Engineering degree from the University of Alabama with honors, Master’s in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University, and a member of Tau Beta Pi, Theta Tau, Sigma Pi Sigma, Pi Mu Epsilon, and Phi Eta. He worked for General Electric for eight years and for NASA for 30 years.

Services will be Monday, May 14 at Cambridge Christian Church Cemetery, Orrville, AL at 2 p.m.

A memorial service will be at Southeast Nazarene Church, Huntsville on Tuesday, May 15 at 11 a.m.
