Bertha Peasant, 67, resident of Selma, passed away April 29, 2012 at Vaughan Medical Center. Services are scheduled for May 5, 2012, 1:00 p.m., at Mount Arrat Baptist Church, Tyler officiated by Rev. J. Coleman. Burial will follow in church cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

Survivors include Steve and Elizza Peasant; one son, Kelvin Blakes; one daughter, Alexis Peasant; seven brothers, Wilson, Steve, Ray, Joe, David, Dennis, and Edward Peasant; three sisters, Ida Adams, Katie M. Peasant, and Edward Peasant; four brothers-in-laws, thirteen nieces, and thirteen nephews, a host of family and friends.
