Annie Griffin, 83, resident of Selma, passed away January 24, 2012 at Vaughan Regional Hospital. Services are scheduled for Sunday, January 29, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at East Salem Baptist Church officiated by Pastor W.J. Brown. Burial will follow in church cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

She is preceded in death by son, Leroy Griffin; brothers, Chester Smith, CD Smith, Albert Smith, Richard Smith, and Mitchell Smith;  sister, Eddie Mae Morgan.

Survivors include sons, Calvin (Shirley) Griffin, LC Griffin, and Jack Griffin; three daughters, Dorothy Cowan, Ovetta Williams, and Mitchelle (Eddie) Brooks; eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, one son-in-law, one daughter-in-law, three sisters-in-laws, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends who loves her dearly.
