Berta Mae Earley Lee age 84 a homemaker of Pine Hill, AL, died December 17, 2011 at her home. She was born February 16, 1927 in Birmingham, AL. She was a member of the Pine Hill Chapel of The Apostolic Faith.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa A (Charlie)Bowers of Birmingham, AL; son-in-law, Billy Averitt of Pine Hill, AL; 9 grandchildren, Jamie (Caroline) Averitt of Catherine, AL; Brandun (Leigh) Averitt of Thomaston, AL; Shannon Averitt of Pine Hill, AL; Brittany Bailey and Raven Earley of Tuscaloosa, AL; Michael Hardin, Anita West, Andrea West, Johnny West all of Birmingham, AL; 15 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, many other nieces, nephews and family members.

She is also survived by the children, teenagers, and young adults she loved and welcomed in to her home and life… along with special friends and neighbors who will miss her so much.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. “Paw Paw” Lee, son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Linda Hardin, brothers, Raybon Earley and Jerald Earley, sister, Jewel Earley Huitt Kynard.

Visitation will be held at Pine Hill Chapel of The Apostolic Faith on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 from 5:30 to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at Pine Hill Chapel of The Apostolic Faith on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 10:00 am with Rev. Jim Arnold and Rev. Mike Brening officiating. Burial will be in the New Live Oak Cemetery in Selma, AL.
