Selma Police search for suspect

Selma Police are continuing to hunt for a second suspect tied to a burglary Tuesday on Foxhall Road.

According to information provided by the Selma Police Department, police responded to a burglary in process Tuesday in the 2100 block of Foxhall Road.

Once they arrived at the scene, witnesses told police they had seen an unknown black male dressed in black force his way into the front door of a residence.

The suspect fled the scene and dropped a 20-inch television and digital camera on the ground.

Investigators said the suspect was seen leaving the scene in a white 4-door vehicle. Thanks to information collected from witnesses, police were able to find the vehicle at Beechcreek Apartments, where they took 18-year-old Shavonta Moore into custody.

The second suspect, who remains at large and is wanted for involvement in Tuesday’s burglary, is 22-year-old Darryl Johnson.
