George Edgar Meyers, age 61, of Jones, AL, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Lawrence Brown- Service Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Milton Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Meyers was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Mary Meyers.

Mr. Meyers is survived by his wife of 22 years, Deborah Meyers; sons, Scott Meyers (Stacey) and their children, Cortnee, Michael “BooBoo”, Cameron; Andy Bozeman (Crystal) and their children, Austin, Hayden, Blair; daughter, Amy Ellis ( Ace) and their children Alexis, Aidan “Dude”

Pallbearers will be Robert Wilson, Ricky Moss, Mike Randall, Keith Shirley, Larry Carroll and Walter Aaron. Honorary pallbearers will be David Rinehart, Millard Green Jr., and Paul Middleton.
