Adrian K. Holloway announced his run for candidacy to a church filled with supporters. Giving his educational and social background Holloway made the decision to run for Dallas County Commissioner of District 3. “Working as a social worker, I am an advocate for the residents and families I serve within the facility. I have developed a passion for improving the quality of life and well-being of peoples’ lives.
“As County Commissioner I will not make promises I can’t keep, but I can assure you I will try my best to make it happen,” Holloway said as supporters listened with eager ears. Concerned citizens questioned Holloways’s “age” and “political experience”, Holloway respectfully responded “I have no less nor any more experience than any other elected official had when running for office for the first time, you always have to start somewhere, and I would like District 3 to be my start.”
“We all know the condition of our county and together we can make improvements. When I am elected, I will do whatever it takes to make District 3 second to none.
“I will be an accessible leader. I will represent you in a way that will make you proud to be a resident of District 3. So, vote Adrian K. Holloway Generation Next; Daring You To Make A Change!”
Holloway is the son of Rev. Robert and Jerrie Childers Jr. of Prattville, and Rev. Thomas and the late Pasty Holloway Paterson of Selma.
Holloway is a graduate of Selma High School and Alabama State University.
Currently, he is employed at Warren Manor Health and Rehabilitation Facility as a social worker.
