Hugh DuBose Mauldin, age 85, of Selma, formerly of Birmingham, died Tuesday October 25, 2011. He is survived by his children, Hugh D. Mauldin, Jr. (Marian), Charles Fitzpatrick Mauldin (Susie), Beth Harris (Bur) and Genia Waller; grandchildren, Daniel Mauldin, Gabe Mauldin (Lisa), Jared Mauldin (Sarah Kate), Kristie Elliott, Melinda Koenig (Justin), Patrick Mauldin (Allison), Margaret Darcher (Jack) and John Harris (Alison); great-grandchildren, Caleb Mauldin, Rachel Mauldin, Ben Mauldin, Elizabeth Mauldin, Maggie Mauldin, Carly Koenig, Cailin Koenig, Zoe Alford and Emily Elliott and his brother, Thad Mauldin (Gretchin).

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday October 29, 2011 at Barrett Road United Methodist Church with Reverend Deborah Born officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Mauldin, Jared Mauldin, Patrick Mauldin, John Harris, Robert Key and Leith Wilson.
