Ruby N. Carter, 78, resident of Dallas County, passed  away October 10, 2011 at Vaughan Regional. Services are scheduled for October 15, 2011, 1:00 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Raymond C. Brown. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

Survivors include one son, Charles E. Carter of Selma; four daughters, Annie Woods, Brenda Carter, Valerie Brown, Ruby F. Carter all of Selma; twenty grandchildren, forty two great grandchildren, three sons-in-laws, two daughters-in-laws, one brother-in-law, eight nieces, eleven nephews, and a host of other relatives.
