Ruby E. Small

Ruby E. Small, age 86, a long time resident of Dallas County, passed away peacefully on
Sunday, September 18, 2011.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral
services will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home
with Brother Gordon Gibbs officiating. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery.

Mrs. Small was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was deeply
loved and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Small and one son, David E. Small.

She leaves behind James (Joyce) Small of Burnsville, Jack Small of Greenville, and Janice
(James) Castle of Prattville, Billy Small, of Marion Shepard, thirteen grandchildren, and nineteen
great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be James Small Jr., James Castle, III, William Castle, Dennis Small, Christopher
Lee, Jonathan Lee, David Small Jr., and Mathew Small.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Baptist Hospice Care and care givers, Lori
Lorenzo and Tracy Daily, also a long time family friend, Brenda Harris of Wetumpka.
