Ethel Marie Jiles Irby, 72, resident of Clearwater, FL. passed away  August 20, 2011 at Mease Dunedin Hospital, Dunedin, FL. Services are scheduled for September 3, 2011, 1:00 p.m. at Miller’s Funeral Chapel officiated by Rev. B. T. Booker, Jr. Burial will follow in Jiles Cemetery directed by Miller funeral Service of Selma.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harvia and Josephine Jiles; five brothers, Wash, Eddie, Harvis, Willie, and Earl; six sisters, Lucille Hasberry, Rosie Lee Molette, Josephine Smith, Mary P. Whitt, Lucy Campbell, and Daisy Thomas.

Survivors include spouse, Tom Irby, Boston, MA.; five sons, Eugene, Boston, MA., Lee Curtis, Clearwater, FL., James, Selma, AL., Leon, Union Springs, AL, Thomas, Boston, MA.; three  daughters, Betty Cruder, Clearwater, FL., Shirley Malone, Spring Hill, FL, Lolita Irby, Boston, MA.; one brother, Thomas Jiles, Orrville, AL.; one sister, Mary F. Jiles Watts, Selma, AL.; eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.
