Mrs. Lula C. Pettaway, 74, resident of Orrville, passed away August 13, 2011 in Orrville. Services will be Saturday, August 20, 2011, 10:30 a.m. at Christian Grace Apostolic Church officiated by Bishop James Marshall. Burial will follow in Courtland Pettaway Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma. There will be wake held Friday, 6:00 -8:00 p.m. at Holy Tabernacle Apostolic Church of Orrville.

Survivors include sons, Maulies (Shirley) Pettaway, Dorial (Minister Karen) Pettaway, and Jaces Pettaway; daughters, Joann Walker, Minister Annie Dell (Johnny) Calhoun, Dr. Aggie Lean Hardy, and Maggie Lean Vincent; brothers, Mr. Oneal Courtland and Mr. Cornelious Courtland (deceased); three sisters, Mrs. Laura Wright, Mrs. Reneva Satterwhite, and Ms. Alma Courtland; nineteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, five brothers-in-laws, six sisters-in-laws, a host of nieces and nephews.
