Mrs. Annie Mae Parker, 89, resident of Marion, Alabama, passed away Marion, Alabama. Services are scheduled for Saturday, August 13, 2011, 1:00 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Clifford Coleman. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery directed Miller Funeral Service of Selma.
She was preceded in death by spouse, Luther Parker, Sr.; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Moore; four brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Napolean (Wilma) Parker, Chicago, IL, Sargent Luther Parker Jr. (Kim), Marion, AL.; daughter, Virginia Parker Nemo (James); brother, Marshall (Ruth) Moore; sisters, Mary Long (King Solomon), Chicago, IL., Marie (Percy) White, Ft. Wayne, IN.; seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, one son-in-law, one daughter-in-law, one brother-in-law, two sisters-in-laws, a host of nieces and nephews; three very special great grands, Virginia Nemo, Kiara Payton, and Desmond Parker.
Mrs. Parker reared seven grandchildren, James Nemo, Jr. preceded her in death; Francita, Annie and Carrie Nemo, Carlos (Mary) Payton, William (Chundra) Parker, and Crystal Parker.
