Memorial services for Charles Franklin Clark will be Friday, August 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Shubuta United Methodist Church with Rev. Ronald Stanley officiating.  Wright’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Clark, 86, of Shubuta, MS died on Monday, August 1, 2011 at his residence.  Mr. Clark graduated from Selma High School where he was All State Football player.  He graduated from University of Alabama and Marion Institute.  He was a member of Shubuta Methodist Church and a Mason and member of Selma Fraternal Lodge #926.  Mr. Clark served in U. S. Army Air Force in the Pacific Theater during World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Annette Clark; son, Charles Clark, Jr. & Sherri; daughters, Beth Henderson & David and Mary C. Douglas & Buddy; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and brother, F. D. Clark.

Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Mississippi Laminators.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Methodist Children’s Home, Selma, AL or American Cancer Society.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
