Eugene Stewart Wall, Sr., died Monday, June 27, 2011, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS.  He was 79.  Born in Birmingham, AL, he was the son of the late Robert Bruce Wall and Thelma Louise Moore Wall.  Mr. Wall was a former resident of Selma, AL and Daphne, AL and had been a resident of Vicksburg since 2002. He served in the Air Force from 1951 to 1955.  Mr. Wall was a retired automobile mechanic. He was an avid golfer with two Holes in One to his credit and a life long supporter of the University of Alabama Football Program.  He was a member of the Vicksburg Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Linda L. Wilson Wall, Vicksburg, MS; son,      Eugene S. Wall, Jr. (Kennette Whittington Wall)         Vicksburg ; two  grandchildren,   Andrew S. Wall and Genna Sue Wall; sister,      Beverly W. Boozer,      Prattville, AL; brother,   Lawrence E. Wall (Veta)   Millbrook, AL; sister in law,  Joyce W. Wall,     Selma, AL. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a sister, Marilyn Louise Wall and three brothers,  Charles M. Wall, Hugh A. Wall and Robert B. Wall, Jr..Services will be 11 AM Wednesday at the Vicksburg Church of Christ with Eric Welch and Reggie Crawford officiating.  Visitation will be at the Church from 10 AM Wednesday until the service.  Graveside services will be 11 AM Thursday in Pineview Memory Gardens in Selma, AL.  Visitation will be at Selma Funeral Home in Selma, AL from 10 AM until the service.
