Mr. Brian Anthony Briggs age 25 a resident of Deatsville passed away Sunday, June 12, 2011. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home with Rev. Jared Decker officiating. The interment will follow at New Liveoak Cemetery with full military honors. Mr. Briggs attended Grandview Baptist Church. He was a member of the 187th Fighter Wing. He was preceded in death by his grandparents John E. & Celeste Briggs   Jr., aunt Mary Briggs. He is survived by his wife Vanessa Gorenflo, of  Deatsville, AL, parents John & Rose Briggs of Millbrook, AL, brother Zachary Briggs of Millbrook, AL, grandparents James & Jessie Mitchell of Selma, AL, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 15,2011 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
