Ms. Stella Dyson McDaniel, 80, resident of Selma, passed away May 30, 2011 at UAB Hospital. Services are scheduled for June 4, 2011, 12:00 p.m. at Lily Grove Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Charles Burns. Burial will follow in Craig Hill Cemetery, Potter Station, directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

She was preceded in death by parents, Nettie and Charlie Dyson; five brothers, Peter, John, Arthur, Henry, and Charlie.

Survivors include spouse James McDaniel; son, Michael McDaniel; two daughters, Jacqueline McDaniel and Carol Booker; two grandchildren, one great grandchild, one son-in-law, one daughter-in-law, three sisters-in-laws, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
