Frances Battels, 67, a resident of Prattville, AL, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2011. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Renee Battels. She is survived by her husband, Kenny T. Battels, Prattville, AL; daughter, Christy L. (Tommy) Missildine, Prattville, AL; two grandchildren, William Landon Battels and Lauren Renee Missildine; a special friend, Donna Watson. Pallbearers will be Justin Dixon, David Pierson, Robert Myers, Ray Oliver, Mark Deason and Clarence Wood. Hononary Pallbearers, Bobby L. Missildine, Jerry L. Thornton and Chuck Pike. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her honor to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Shiloh Cemetery (Dallas County) with Rev. Mike Stephens officiating. Visitation will be held at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
