Violet Inez Johnson, age 84, of Selma, died Tuesday December 28, 2010. She is survived by her husband, Robert Ellis Johnson; sons, Robert Ellis Johnson (Dianne) of Anderson, S.C., Chris Maddox Johnson (Roseanne) of Marion, AL and Russell Thurman Johnson (Patty) of Tuscaloosa, AL; sister, Barbara Elaine Bishop of Montgomery, AL; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; aunt, Eunice Luna of Mobile, AL and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday December 30, 2010 at New Live Oak cemetery with Reverend Deborah Born officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Asera Care Hospice of Selma.
