Laura Elizabeth Smith Pullam, 29, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2010. She is survived by her daughter, Victoria Clarabelle (Belle), parents Guy F. (Fred) and Mary Smith, grandmother Ruth R. Wilson, brother Michael Christopher (Shannon) Smith; sisters: Jennifer Ann Smith (Ed) Stasiak, Mary Carolyn (Greg) Syslo, nieces: Sydney, Addison, Peyton Syslo; nephews: Tyler Dill, Chase Grey; uncle, Robert (Nancy) Wilson; cousins: Ruth W. (John) Brock, Cindy Smith (Frank) King, Robert Smith, and special friend Shane Anthony Pullam.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Burkville Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Turner officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery in Selma. The family will receive friends from 12-1:30 p.m. at the church on Saturday.

Active Pallbearers will be Ed Stasiak, Tyler Dill, Jay McNamee, Jonathan Seen, Marty Forman, and Danny Kelson.

She was a paramedic in Morgan and Lawrence County for 6 years, and for the past few months was working in Lowndes County. She was also and active member of the Morgan County Rescue Squad for 5 years.

She was a 1999 graduate of Lowndes Academy and received her paramedic degree from the University of South Alabama.
