Oliver Lee Lawrence, Sr., age 69, of Selma, died Tuesday December 14, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Lawrence. He is survived by his daughter, Sandra Hatcher; sons, Paul Lawrence (Emma), Jeff Lawrence (Sharon), and Oliver Lawrence (Lynn); 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, sisters, Georgia Walker (Ray), Bonnie Honeycutt; brothers, Earnest Lawrence (Juanita), Monroe Lawrence (Carolyn), Pete Lawrence (Bit), Jack Lawrence and Henry Lawrence; sisters-in-law, Edna House, Ruby (Roger) Teel, Patsy Sims, Christine Anderson and Mary Jo Losse; brothers-in-law, Elgin House (Dale) and Jerry House (Thelma) and numerous nieces and nephews.

A chapel service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday December 17, 2010 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Reverend Rod Rochester officiating and burial following in New Live Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday December 16 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ray Lawrence, Ernest Hatcher, Melissa Patterson, Earnest O. Hatcher, Johnny Hatcher and Jarrell Lee.
