Deacon Samuel Frison, Sr., 60, resident of Selma, passed away December 3, 2010 at Jackson Hospital, Montgomery, Alabama. Services are scheduled for December 11, 2010, 2:00 p.m. at New Sister Spring Baptist Church, 435 County Road 67, officiated by Pastor Karl Lewis. Burial will follow in church cemetery directed by Walker Mortuary.

He was preceded in death by parents, Henrietta Johnson, Artheleus Fails, Sr., Czoner Frison, and Amelia Frison.

Survivors include spouse, Mary H. Frison; four sons, four daughters, three brothers, seventeen sisters, eight grandchildren, six brothers-in-laws, two sisters-in-laws, a host of nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be members of church. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of the church.
