I’ll have the opportunity to visit Wednesday over the telephone with newly elected member of Congress Terri Sewell.

She’ll be back home Saturday to act as Grand Marshall of the Christmas Parade.

Right now, according to Craig Auster, a staffer, Sewell is attending a bipartisan conference at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. The conference focuses on issues the new members of Congress will face.

The conference began Tuesday and will run through Friday.
