Cather Lee McCants, 94, resident of Selma, Alabama passed away November 8, 2010 at her home. Services are scheduled for Saturday, November 13, 2010, 1:00 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Burnsville, Alabma officiated by Pastor Frank L. Smith. Burial will follow in Little Star Cemtery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

She is preceded in death by spouse, Monroe McCants; parents Ebb Wallace and Lucille King Wallace.

Survivors include sons, M.C. McCants and Lesley McCants; four daughters, Ruby Lewis, Zeola Thomas, Lucille Murry, and Lizzie Burton; three brothers J. B. Wallace, Rosezell Wallace, and James Wallace; one sister, Minnie Morris; fifty-eight grandchildren, ninety-nine great grandchildren, ninety-four great-great grandchildren, three sons-in-laws, three daughters-in-laws, one sister-in-law, and a host of nieces and nephews.
