Mr. and Mrs. Michael Kiker of Chelsea, AL announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Nicole Kiker to Kent Pharis Walton.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Donald and Diane Walton of Selma.

Miss Kiker is the granddaughter of Joseph & Mary Kiker , Donald & Jane Handley of Adamsville. She is a graduate of Chelsea High School. She is presently employed with Alabama Urology in Birmingham, AL.
Her fiancé is the grandson of the late Roland Walton, Harriet Latham, and Keith & Willonese Green all of Selma. He is a graduate of Morgan Academy. He attended WCCS-Selma and The University of Montevallo. He is presently employed with Burdette Dental Lab in Birmingham, AL.
The wedding will take place Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Chelsea Church of God in Chelsea, AL.
