DEAN, Milton “Roy,” 59, a resident of Prattville, AL, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, September 9, 2010, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial, with Pastor Randall Tucker officiating.

Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens, with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing.

Roy was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

Up until his illness, he was a chemist for 25 years with the American Fine Wire Corporation in Selma, AL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Dean, Sr. and Lois Herrington Dean.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Elisabeth Dean; three daughters, Katy (Phillip) Pate, Jessi (Lance) Caldwell, and Molly Dean; one son, Clay Dean; one grandson, Sam Pate; one sister, Bette Yoho; one brother, Bill Dean; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
