Had lunch at The Restaurant on Grumbles Alley on Monday only to spot Terri Sewell come running through for a power lunch with her mom, Nancy, and a table of supporters. Terri, the Democratic nominee for the 7th Congressional District seat, promises she will come home to Selma for the win celebration in November.

The election is not totally a done deal. Terri faces Republican Don Chamberlain in the general election.  Haven’t seen Don, another Selma resident, around lately. Guess he must be beating the bushes in more Republican territory in the district.
