The National Weather Service at Birmingham has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Dallas County and the surrounding area.

Strong storms will be possible this afternoon and evening across all of Central Alabama.

The main threats will be wind gusts up to 40 mph and locally heavy rainfall.

On Wednesday, strong storms will be possible mainly along and south of Interstate 20 as a cold front moves through the area.
