Three Selma men face drug and alcohol-related charges after their arrests by Selma police.

Walter Cleveland Blair Rice, 24; William Smith, 18; and Acy Keenan Sanders, 19, were arrested Sunday and placed in the Dallas County Jail.

Selma police officers saw several people standing on the south side of a business in the 3000 block of Citizens Parkway, stopped and talked to them. While talking, officers conducted a plain view check of the vehicles and saw several open containers of alcohol, said Sgt. Doug Stewart, administrative division commander for the Selma Police Department.

Smith is charged with minor in possession of alcohol. His bond is $500.

Sanders is charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, minor in possession of alcohol and unlawful possession of marijuana in the second degree. His bond is $16,000.
