Selma police officers are searching for a suspect in a robbery that occurred Tuesday morning.

A 33-year-old woman said a man knocked her to the ground and forcibly removed $20 from her as she exited a business in the 900 block of Lawrence street, according to Sgt. Doug Stewart, administrative division commander at the Selma Police Department.

The suspect ran away. He wore an orange shirt and blue jeans.
