SELMA – The Artur Davis for Governor campaign opened its Black Belt campaign headquarters Saturday in Selma.
To date, the Davis Campaign is the only campaign to open a regional headquarters in Alabama’s Black Belt. More than 50 supporters filled the new office located at 431 Church Street in Selma for a grand opening celebration.
“If you are tired of the same old same old in Alabama politics; if you are ready to elect a governor who will change this state for good; and if you’re ready to elect the first governor who has worked in the Black Belt and who claims the Black Belt as his political home, then I am your candidate,” said Davis.
The Black Belt Headquarters is open Monday through Saturday from 11am – 7pm for volunteer operations.
Additionally, the Davis Campaign has operations in Birmingham, Huntsville, Mobile and Montgomery. Supporters can call 334-874-7935 or visit www.arturdavis.com for more information on how to get involved.
