SELMA — Police officers here have arrested a 66-year-old man on drug charges.

Johnnie Moore of Selma was arrested Thursday and charged with first-degree possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance by members of the Selma Police Department Narcotics Unit.

Sgt. Doug Stewart, administrative division commander for the Selma Police Department, said officers with the unit acted on a tip from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department, saying someone had called the anonymous tip line to report a man selling drugs out of his vehicle in the 1300 block of Duke Street.
