In observance of Holy Week and Easter, participants from Gateway Ministries Baptist Church are bringing to life the stories of Jesus.

Thursday’s re-enactment portrayed the Last Supper and Jesus’ arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane, before he was sent to be crucified.

At 2 p.m. today, an actor portraying Jesus will be outside City Hall re-enacting the trial of Jesus, pulling the cross and tbeing crucidied.

Sunday at 6 a.m., actors will conclude Holy Week with a re-enactment of Mary and John visiting the tomb of Jesus after his death and the resurrection of Jesus.

As the actors do this re-enactment, please be respectful of the religious observances. Do not honk or yell out the window of your car at the actors.

If you would like to watch the re-enactment, please park in an appropriate space and walk to the portrayal.
