Walk for a great cause

Help the community cultivate stronger minds and bodies of children and adults with disabilities.
By participating in the Walk With Me event April 10, you can help the Easter Seals West Alabama Rehabilitation Center continue programming such as the Special Pre-School Education Center and adult job development and placement services.
Participants of Easter Seals have disabilities, whether physical or mental, and are given the skills necessary to attend school and work in traditional classrooms and companies.
Programs like these are helping residents of Dallas, Autauga, Chilton, Perry, Marengo, Wilcox, Lowndes and Bibb counties every day.
“They just want to be normal,” said Rachel Ratcliff, program coordinator of Easter Seals West Alabama Rehabilitation Center.
And they are normal.
Bringing a face to the organization, representatives serving as ambassadors of the walk will be available to answer questions, or just chat, during and after the event.
These young adults and children want to help residents understand the power of the Easter Seals programming.
It changed their lives.
Now they are asking that you help to continue to change the lives of others through donations to the event either through sponsorship or participation.
