John T. Morgan Academy. Will resume classes Monday, Jan. 11.

Meadowview Christian School. Will resume classes Monday, Jan. 11

Dallas County Schools. Will resume Monday, Jan. 11

MONTGOMERY- Based on the current forecast predictions overnight and into the morning, Governor Bob Riley is delaying the opening of all State Offices by two hours on Friday morning. The Alabama Emergency Management Agency, Department of Transportation and Department of Public Safety are concerned about dangerous road conditions as ice may form due to freezing rain on bridges, overpasses and county roads. This does not include critical essential response staff as determined by each state Cabinet Member, Director and/or Commissioner. Each agency head will determine which essential personnel needs to report to work as scheduled.
