For their outstanding leadership with the Air Force Junior ROTC program at Selma High School, schools Superintendent Dr. Austin Obasohan and school board members presented Maj. Larry Spicer and Master Sgt. Anthony Jones with an award Thursday at the school board meeting.

“They certainly have proven to be excellent leaders,” Dr. Obasohan said.

This year, the Selma High School Junior ROTC program has been recognized with the Air Force Association’s Alabama Outstanding Unit Award and the Top Junior ROTC Unit Award.
