SELMA – Resurfacing of a portion of J.L. Chestnut Boulevard began this week.

The construction will be worked block-by-block, starting at the intersection of J.L. Chestnut Boulevard and Martin Luther King Street.

The roadwork will conclude at the intersection of J.L. Chestnut Boulevard and Lapsley Street.

“We are hoping that the resurfacing is done in about a month,” Sgt. Doug Stewart said. “We ask that drivers take an alternate route if possible.”
