Bertha M. Brown, 95, of Centreville, passed away, Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Bibb Medical Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held, Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Centreville Baptist Church at 1:30 PM with Rev. Ken Fuller officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Graveside will be held at Alpine Baptist Church Cemetery in Chilton County at 3:30 PM with Rev. William Earl Short officiating and Rockco Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Brown was a long time member of Alpine Baptist Church and current member of Centreville Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband Andrew J. Brown; son Leo Brown, Sr. and grandson, Leo Brown, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter Faye B. Downs (E.C.)of Centreville; son, Brady L. Brown(Judy) of Winfield, eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and eight great great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Derek Brown, Charles Bruner, Randall Bruner, Donald Godwin, Robert Ingram and Tim Perry.
