Necie Marzette Mann, 93, of Selma, Alabama died October 15, 2009 at Vaughan Regional Hospital. Services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 12:00 Noon at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1548 Legrande St. officiated by Elder Robert Pettus. Burial will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens under the direction of Lewis Brothers Funeral Home Inc.
Survivors include four sons, Leon Mann, Jr., Cleophus Mann, Donald George Mann, and Clarence Earl Mann; eight daughters, Raye Matthew Mann (deceased), Jean E. Hicks, Jean A. Taswell, Frances R. Spruill, Gertha D. Thompson, Kathryn Crosby-Parker, Jacqueline Mann and Valarie A. Powe; three sisters, Julia Felix, Bernice Moore, and Joyce Green; thirty-seven grandchildren; thirty-nine great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Mary Sue Marzette, Bernice Mann, and Shirley Marzette; one brother-in-law, Eddie Lee Mann; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Leon Mann, III, Roderick Mann, Victor Mann, Vincent Mann, Damain Steele, and Nick Crosby.
