Betty Mae Webb, age 78, died on Friday, October 9th, 2009. Mrs. Webb was a lifelong resident of Selma, AL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 17th, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church (3240 Hwy 22, Selma, AL) with Rev. John D. Mobley officiating and Rev. Charles A. Lett eulogizing. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Gardens with Miller Funeral Home directing.
She is survived by her husband, John Webb; seven children, Albert (Angelica) Webb, Sheyann (Andre) Webb-Christburg, Betty Joyce (Wendell) Lawson, Samuel Webb, George Webb, Dan Webb and Vivian Sims; a stepson, Tyrone (Hattie) Webb; twenty-one grand-children, nineteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; four sisters, Ruth Miles, Mary Mullins, Evelyn Clark and Zelma White; five brothers, Lloyd (Mary) Harrison, Kenneth (Lorraine) Harrison, Walter Harrison, Willie Harrison and Jessie King; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Family hour will be held on Friday, October 16th at 6:00 PM at Miller Funeral Home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service.
