Obama could play Forrest Gump in American sequel

What follows is a letter addressed to our current president, Barack Hussein Obama:
“Stupid is as stupid does.” That admonition was what Forrest Gump’s mama told Forrest in the famous 1994 movie starring Tom Hanks. In the movie Forrest was reputed to have an IQ of 75 and being mocked by his school-mates, but he was able to accomplish some remarkably sensational, non-stupid things during his young life. I figure your IQ, Mr. President, must be about 175, thus you are not stupid.
Unfortunately, individuals blessed with a high level of intelligence are not immune from doing very stupid things. In my opinion, you fit that category perfectly, Mr. President, and I shudder to think about just how much damage you have already done to our once-great country during your first six months in the White House.
The recent event, involving Cambridge, Mass., police officer Sgt. James Crowley and Harvard professor Henry Gates, which you addressed at the end of your health-care press conference in July, is a good example. In your remarks, you stated that the police “acted stupidly.” This was a stupid accusation to make because you did not know all the facts. Also, stupidly, you inferred that the officers on the scene held a racial bias.
Inviting Crowley and Gates to come to the White House for a beer did not replace the needed apology to Crowley and all of America’s policemen. All that was needed, Mr. President, was a simple “I’m sorry, I was wrong.” I suggest that your natural arrogance prevented an appropriate apology.
I believe that other than America’s military veterans, deceased, alive and currently protecting our precious freedoms, our country’s policemen and firemen are our next most important citizens. Of course, none of us are perfect, but I hate to think what it would be like without our police officers and firefighters.
Another “shoot-from-the-hip” stupid decision was your dictate that all Gitmo terrorist detainees would be transferred or released at the end of one year. Now what, Mr. President? Nobody in this or other countries wants these alleged killer-terrorists anywhere near them. Those several detainees you released to Bermuda a while back have really been enjoying Bermuda’s surf and sand, according to reports. That’s tough punishment for trying, and sometimes succeeding, in killing our soldiers and citizens.
Anybody who watches or hears the news is very much aware of your plan for the government to take over our nation’s health-care program. As you know, the majority of Americans, according to most polls, are very much opposed to such a move. Polls show that 80 percent of our citizens are satisfied with the health care they are currently receiving. Your public option health program will cost trillions more, reduce the quality of health care, especially those millions of senior citizens, and greatly discourage young men and women from pursuing medical-oriented careers.
The recent town hall meetings have demonstrated dramatically just how much passionate opposition to government-controlled healthcare and higher taxes there is among the average citizen. Congressional leaders Pelosi, Durbin and Reid are calling the protestors mobsters, Nazis, un-American, etc. They conveniently forget that free speech and protest are as American as apple pie and baseball
As far as I can see, Mr. President, this is just another stupid power grab on the part of you and your super-liberal cronies!
