Dear editor,

I used to live in Selma and returned a couple of weeks ago to visit my son and his family.

I could not believe how rundown places looked that have closed. You would think that the city would at least mow the grass so it didn’t look as bad for people traveling through the city.

Places that are about to fall down need to be torn down, I know it doesn’t cost that much. Let them get people that are in jail to be the labor.
