Selma’s Keisha Moore top scorer, South MVP

HUNTSVILLE – Keisha Moore of Selma led all scorers and captured the South MVP award in Thursday night’s 13th annual Alabama All-Star Sports Week girls basketball contest.

The North All-Stars, however, outscored the South 14-6 in the third quarter to spark a 50-45 win.

Moore led all scorers with 15 points. Hope Olszewski of St. James added six points and Erika Jones of Smith’s Station pulled down seven rebounds.

North MVP Tyrese Tanner of Hoover had 13 points, six rebounds and three steals to pace the North attack. Courtney Strain of Woodland chipped in nine points and four rebounds and Lecresha Horton of Athens added seven points.
