Mayor George Evans has planned a series of meetings to discuss a proposed bond issue vote tentatively set for Oct. 27.
So far, 52 issues are on the bond issue list, but that could change.
“This is a work in progress,” Evans said. “We want everyone to talk about these issues and we may add or subtract them, depending on what the people want.”
The referendum meetings kick off Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Selma High School. The meetings aren’t expected to last more than two hours.
The Selma Times-Journal plans to live stream the meetings at sites where the technology is available. Watch the Web site at www.selmatimesjournal.com for announcements about the live streaming.
If technology is not available for live video streaming, the site will have live blogging throughout the meeting.
