Tobie Mae L. Stevenson, age 85, of Marion, Alabama died July 13, 2009 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma, Alabama. Mrs. Stevenson was born December 6, 1923 in Bluefield, West Virginia to Henry Sid and Effey Mae Crotty Lambert. She is survived by her sons, Sam Stevenson (Susan) of Marion, AL and James Stevenson (Karen) of DeRidder, LA; one sister, Betty Hall of San Diego, CA; and four grandchildren, Jeffry Ste-venson, Tara Stevenson, Kaitlyn Stevenson, and Charles Stevenson. Funeral services will be held Thurs-day, July 16, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel with the Reverend Stan Bamberg officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel directing. Burial will follow Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 11 a.m. at East Lawn Palms Cemetery in Tucson, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be made to St. Wilfrid’s Episcopal Church, 104 Clement Street, Marion, Alabama, 36756.
