MONTGOMERY — The Montgomery Dream rebounded from last week’s loss to the Biloxi Storm to bounce the Baton Rouge Heat 98-88 Saturday night in Women’s Blue Chip Basketball League action..

The Dream return to action July 11 on the road again against the Gulf Coast Tropics in Mobile.

Yaleisha Barnes, who played at Alabama and was a Carver star, led the Montgomery scorers with 21. Former Selma High and Concordia College standout Santana Seay followed with 18.

Former Alabama player Tequila Allen had 16, and Shameka Jackson-Amacker, who played at Alabama State, closed out double-figure scoring with 11.

In last week’s action, Montgomery fell to Biloxi 80-76.
