William L. “Johnny” Johnson, Jr. age 70, of Plantersville, AL, passed away June 3, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Jean Moore Johnson; son, Robert Dean Johnson; son-in-law, Rick Kiefer and sister, Doris Jean Guernsey; grandson, Christopher Preble; mother, Frances Hornaceck and father, William L. Johnson, Sr.
Surviving are his sons, William L. (Stephanie) Johnson, III, Andy (Jennifer) Johnson and Joe Johnson; daughters, Sherri McDonald, Michelle Kiefer and Vanessa (John) Wall; grandchildren, Stevie Preble, Robert Junior Johnson, Ricky Kiefer, Jessie Preble, Benjamin Johnson, B. A. Preble, Jamie Johnson, Drew Wall, Nikki Kiefer, Joanna Wall, Jon Jon Wall, Ashley Smith, Patrick Johnson, Ray Wooley, Wendy Joann Toler and Michael Johnson; great-grandchildren, Alex Preble, Michael Thomas Johnson and Thomas Michael Johnson; daughter-in-law, Teresa Johnson and special friend, Irene Reid.
Funeral services will be Sunday, June 7, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Plantersville Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Golson officiating. The family will receive friends at Selma Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, June 6, 2009 from 6-8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Robert Junior Johnson, Stevie Preble, Ricky Kiefer, B. A. Preble, Benjamin Johnson and Drew Wall. Honorary pallbearers will be Jon Jon Wall and John Wall.
